The problem is it's human nature to seek easy solutions to problems. A diet of French fries and Coke might taste good but it's bad for your health and changing the ingredients isn't going to change that. But it's easier to believe switching to beef tallow and cane sugar is now going to make it okay as opposed to eating less junk and eating more fruits and veggies.

“‘The human body does not distinguish between high fructose corn syrup and cane sugar. All it knows is how much fructose am I getting, and how much glucose am I getting?’ Shelke said.”

Spoken with the blissfully ignorant, unequivocating confidence a true shill for Big Food, Big Soda, and the Ultra Processed Food-Industrial Complex at large. Oh, wait:

“Kantha Shelke … is a principal at Corvus Blue LLC, a contract food science & nutrition research and regulatory affairs firm specializing in competitive intelligence research and rapid commercialization of new ingredients and technologies” (advanced.jhu.edu/directory/kantha-shelke).

“‘If you are going to push me to say is tallow going to be healthier than unsaturated fats, I would say definitely not. Because saturated fats have been shown to cause problems. Especially for the crowd that has health-related issues,’ she said.”

“The crowd that has health-related issues” — LMAO. As opposed to what sorts of issues would otherwise we be talking here?

Did you read these beyond the word "fructose" in the headline?

If fructose is bad, then fructose is bad. And cane sugar is 50% fructose, 50% glucose.

"High-fructose" like HFCS-55 means it has 55% fructose instead of 50% fructose.

... Fuuuuuuuuuuuck, I watched some of that YouTube video, and they specifically talk about trying a low-fructose diet, but your body just makes fructose out of ... wait for it... can you guess... it makes fructose out of glucose!

Stop eating so much sugar!!
